Celebration Station Helpful Candle Tips

Celebration Station Helpful Candle Tips
Burn Safely from Wynné Creations!

1.    Trimming the candlewick is a must! Please keep wicks trimmed
to 1/4”, this is the most important part of burning a candle
in order to prevent the candle from smoking or having a large
flame.

2.    For maximum usage allow wax to melt all the way across the
candle each time a candle is lit. However do not burn any
candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

3.    Handle with care, a candle container is fragile. Do not use
if container is cracked, chipped or scratched.

4.    Place candle on protected, heat resistant, dry surface, far
away from anything flammable and out of reach of children
and pets.

5.    Sides and bottom of candle container may become hot while
the candle is burning. Handle carefully.

6.    Discontinue use of the candle when 1/4" of wax remains.
This will prevent possible heat damage to the counter
surface or the container itself.

7.    Extinguish candle before replacing lid.

8.    Store in a cool, dry place. Exposure to moisture can
prevent relighting. Color, fragrance and specific
usage affect’s the wax.

9.    When purchasing a container candle, always make sure there
is no moisture on the top of the wax! Some candle companies
add fragrance to the tops of the candles to make you think
you're getting a strong candle when in all actuality you're not!

10.  Did you know that a candle has a memory? When burning a candle
for the first time, it's suggested that you burn it one hour
for each inch in diameter. This will allow the pool of wax to
extend to the outside edges and will prevent your candle from
forming a "canyon" or hollow center. Burning a candle this
way will also set its memory. Each time you burn the candle it
will "remember" to burn to it's edge.
